A collection of photos I took while exploring (the) Ohio State University. This was just after the first snowfall of the year while the fall colors were still out, and I’ve gotta say this campus was absolutely beautiful with the combination of a little dusting of snow and the yellows and reds of fall.

I was here on a work trip, and of course brought my Fuji x100f as my go-to travel camera. But I think this long photo walk solidified my love of finding little ways to relax and truly enjoy work travel. I don’t like being away from my home and family much, but exploring, even when done alone, is still a joy that makes the time away more bearable. Plus there were several great coffee shops near Ohio State’s campus that always help take the edge off, even in Ohio winter weather.

Ohio State is known (at least to me as a Southerner) for its football program, but before visiting I didn’t fully appreciate how big the school is in industry in the area. Ohio State has a great set of engineering programs, which I love, and they’re highly respected in business and medicine as well.

This campus is a great destination for Ohio travelers.
