Reflections are one of my favorite photo subjects. Water is an obvious connection to reflections, and I do love me some water photography. But I’ve been making an effort to find other kinds of examples in my travels lately. This gallery is a few of my favorites from 2025’s travels; Austin, TX; Greenville, SC; Washington, D.C.; Indianapolis, IN; and somewhere over Virginia.

I don’t really have a big important meta connection to photos like this. I’m not going to sit here and tell you how all the reflections in the buildings and the water are really reflections into my soul or some bullshit like that. I just think humans like reflections because we like water and shiny things, and taking pictures of crisp and clear reflections is a good way to bring just a little bit of that natural wonder from the real world to your screen.
